Tayan, West Kalimantan: Indonusa is mining bauxite reserves in Tayan, West Kalimantan, for commercial purposes since 2007. They have signed an agreement with Chinese Aluminum Corp. of China Ltd. to establish an alumina refinery in Indonesia.
PT. Kalmin Sejati and PT. Kalmin Nusaraya, operates under the umbrella of PT. Indonusa Dwitama, and focuses on non-mineral Sea Sand mining. They are contributing to their overall investment endeavours in the mining sector.
They are located in Kabupaten Sukamara, Kalimantan Tengah, covering offshore area of 2,000 hectares.
1. Cigudeg (Bogor): A 20-hectare mining area in Rengasjejer village, West Java, is currently in the exploration stage of andesite (basalt). The drilling results from 5 hectares show that there are about 14 million cubic meters of reserves.
2. Lampung: Sumur village in Ketapang district, Lampung, has an exploration stage of andesite (basalt), covering 30 hectares of land. The drilling results have shown an approximate of 11 million cubic meters reserves.
3. West Jawa: PT Taruna Tangguh Mandiri (TTM) and PT Kalmin Utama (KU) are located in close proximity of each other, covering 35.9 hectares of land and and can be accessible within 1-2.5 hrs depending on location (BSD/Bogor). They both offer everything from finely graded aggregates to massive boulders and everything in between.
